Chilli Prawns

Ingredients:

250-300 gms prawns
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
egg white of 1 egg
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1-2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp soya sauce
2 onions,chopped
3 green chillies, chopped
1 tbsp cornflour
1/2 cup of water
red colour (optional)
1 capsicum,chopped
salt
oil

Preparation:

  1. Clean prawns and marinate it with ginger paste, garlic paste, pepper powder, turmeric powder, 1 egg white, 1 tsp soyasauce and salt and keep for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the prawns and keep aside.
  3. In the same oil add onions and green chillies and saute for few minutes till soft. Add chopped capsicum and saute.
  4. Mix 1 tbsp cornflour in 1/2 cup of water, add this and mix well. Add all the sauces and red colour and  mix well. Adjust salt. When the gravy thickens add fried prawns and mix well. Garnish with spring onions and serve hot…
