Ingredients:
2 cup chakkakuru/ jackfruit seeds , cleaned and thinly sliced
1 cup small prawns/ chemmeen , cleaned
5 slit green chillies
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 cup raw mango, chopped
1 cup thick coconut milk
2 cup thin coconut milk
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tbsp shallots, sliced
3 dry red chillies
2 sprig curry leaves
Preparation:
- In a pan or manchatti, add sliced chakkakuru, cleaned prawns, green chillies, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and cook in low flame adding thin coconut milk.
- Then add chopped mangoes and when it cooks, add thick coconut milk. When it boils, remove from flame and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a small pan, splutter mustard seeds. Add sliced shallots, dry red chillies and curry leaves, fry it and pour into the curry. Mix well and serve hot….
