Rava- Maida Neypathal/ Poori

Ingredients:

1 cup maida/ plain flour
1/2 cup rava/ semolina
1/2-3/4 cup grated coconut
2 shallots
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
1/2 cup water
salt
oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, mix maida and rava together.
  2. Grind grated coconut, shallots, fennel seeds, salt and water together to a coarse paste.
  3. Mix this ground paste with rava-maida mixture and knead well to a dough.
  4. Divide the prepared dough into small balls and roll it into small poori’s.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the poori’s on both sides. Serve hot with curry…
