Ingredients:
2 cup cabbage, grated or finely chopped
1 cup muringayila/ drumstick leaves
1 onion, finely chopped
4 green chillies, chopped
1 small piece ginger, chopped
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Wash and drain drumstick leaves/ muringayila and keep it aside.
- In a bowl, add grated cabbage, muringayila, onion, green chillies, ginger, grated coconut and salt and mix well with your hand.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- Add cabbage-muringayila mixture and mix well.
- Cover and cook on low flame till done, stirring occasioanlly. Remove from flame and serve with rice..
