Coriander Coconut Chutney


1/4 cup coriander leaves
1/2 cup grated coconut
2 green chillies
1/2 inch ginger, chopped
1 tbsp roasted channa dal
small piece of tamarind
salt to taste
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
few curry leaves
2 tsp oil


  1. In a blender, add grated coconut, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, roasted chana dal, tamarind and salt and grind adding enough water till smooth.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and add curry leaves.
