Chakkakuru Porichathu / Jackfruit Seed Fry


20 chakkakuru / jackfruit seeds
2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
coconut oil, for frying


  1. Remove the white outer skin of jackfruit seeds and cut each into thin slices.
  2. Then marinate it with chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and keep it aside for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated jackfruit seeds and fry at low flame stirring in between till it gets cooked and turns little crispy..
  4. Remove from the pan and serve hot…
