Salata Hara ( Side dish for Arabic Rice)


2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 garlic, chopped
1 green chilli
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp lemon juice / vinegar
salt to taste


  1. In a blender, add chopped tomatoes, garlic, green chilli,1 tbsp coriander leaves and salt and grind well.
  2. Transfer this to a bowl and add cumin powder, lemon juice and 1 tbsp coriander leaves and mix well.
  3. Adjust the salt and serve with arabic rices like mandhi, kabsa, kabaliyath etc…
