Chikku – Tender Coconut Layer Shake

Ingredients:

Chikku Layer:

3 chikku/ chikkoo/ sapota , peeled and chopped
1 cup chilled milk
sugar as required

Tender Coconut Layer:

1 cup elaneer/ karikku/ tender coconut pulp
1 cup chilled milk
sugar as required

Preparation:

  1. In a blender, add the chopped chikkoos , chilled milk and sugar and blend well until thick and creamy. Chikku layer is ready…
  2. Then prepare the tender coconut layer by blending the tender coconut pulp, chilled milk and sugar together until thick and creamy.
  3. Divide the chikku layer mixture between two glasses, filling the bottom. Then pour the tender coconut layer mixture on top of the chikku. Serve immediately…
