Mutta Vellayappam/ Appam

Ingredients:

appam batter, as required ( 1 ladle for one appam)
1 egg, for each appam
pepper, to taste
salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Heat an appachatti (appam pan / kadai) on medium flame and grease it with little oil. 
  2. Pour a ladle of appam batter to the pan and rotate the pan in a circular manner.
  3. Break an egg and pour it to the center of the appam.
  4. Sprinkle pepper and salt and cook covered till the appam and the egg is cooked and the edges start turning brown.
  5. Remove the appam from the pan and transfer it to a plate. Serve hot with stew…
