Chicken Macaroni

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cup macaroni
250 g chicken, cut into small pieces
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chillies, finely chopped
2 onions, finely chopped
3-4 tbsp spring onions, chopped
1 capsicum, chopped
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp vinegar
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
salt to taste
oil, as required

Preparation:

  1. Boil water in a deep pan, add macaroni, 1 tsp of oil and salt and cook for 8-10 minutes or according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and keep it aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add chopped spring onion whites and saute well.
  3. Add finely chopped onions and little salt and saute. Add chopped capsicum and spring onion green and saute for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame.
  4. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a thick bottomed pan and add ginger-garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
  5. Add chopped green chillies and mix well.
  6. Add chicken pieces and saute well adding salt till the colour changes to white.
  7. Then cook it covered at low flame for 7-8 minutes.
  8. Add chilli flakes and chilli powder and mix well.
  9. Add vinegar, tomato sauce and soy sauce and mix well at high flame.
  10. Add sautéed onion mixture and mix well.
  11. Then add cooked macaroni and mix well till masala is well coated. Adjust the salt.
  12. Garnish with chopped spring onion and serve…
