Paneer Manchurian With Gravy


300 gm paneer, cut into cubes
1 big onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1 capsicum, chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp chilli sauce
3/4 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp vinegar
salt to taste
1 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp spring onions, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp oil


  1. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped ginger, garlic and green chilli and saute for a minute at high flame.
  2. Add chopped onion and saute well till transparent. Add capsicum and saute for a minute.
  3. Reduce the flame and add soy sauce and chilli sauce and mix well for 1-2 minutes at high flame.
  4. Add about 2 1/2 cups of water and mix well. Add pepper powder, vinegar and adjust salt.
  5. When it boils well, add paneer pieces and mix well and boil for 5 minutes.
  6. Add cornflour mixed with little water and mix well. Add sugar to this and mix well.
  7. Garnish with chopped spring onions and remove from flame…Serve hot…
