Ingredients:
1 cup semiya / vermicelli
2 cups hot water
4 tbsp sugar
a pinch of salt
2 banana / nendrapazham, chopped into small pieces
3/4 cup grated coconut
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
8-10 cashew nuts
3 tbsp ghee
Preparation:
- Heat 1 1/2 tbsp ghee in a pan and fry cashew nuts and keep it aside.
- Add semiya into the pan and roast till brown.
- Then add 2 cups of hot water, salt and 2 tbsp sugar and cook well till soft and the water dries.
- Heat 1 1/2 tbsp ghee in a pan and add chopped banana and saute well till golden brown. Keep it aside.
- In the same pan, add grated coconut and and fry till light brown.
- Add 2 tbsp sugar and cardamom powder and mix well everything together.
- Add cooked semiya and banana into this and mix well for 2 minutes on low flame. Remove from flame and serve…
