Broccoli Stir Fry

Today’s post is a simple broccoli stir fry, which is a quick and easy ‘side dish’ for rice. Broccoli is a healthy vegetable which even kids love to eat.

1 broccoli
1 medium onion,chopped
3 garlic cloves,crushed
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1-2 tsp chilly powder
salt to taste


  1.  Wash and cut broccoli into small florets.
  2.  Heat oil in a pan,add crushed garlic,chopped onion and saute till the onion is soft.
  3. Stir in chopped broccoli,chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt.Cover and cook it on low flame until broccoli is cooked, stirring occasionally.
  4. Open lid and stir fry until dry.
