Ingredients:
250 gm prawns, cleaned
1 tbsp green peppercorns/ pacha kurumulaku
10 shallots
2 sprig curry leaves
small piece ginger
6 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
salt to taste
oil
Preparation:
- Grind together green peppercorns, shallots, 1 sprig curry leaves, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder and salt to a smooth paste.
- Marinate the cleaned prawns with this paste and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat little oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and add curry leaves.
- Then add the marinated prawns and fry on medium flame until done…Serve hot with rice…
Never tried green peppercorns… delicious looking fry…
