Kaayi / Pazham Vaatiyathu ( Ghee Roasted Bananas)


2 ripe bananas / plantains / nendrapazham
2 tbsp ghee
sugar, as required


  1. Peel the bananas and slice them length wise.
  2. Heat ghee in a frying pan and place the banana slices in the pan.
  3. Fry them in low medium flame until golden brown.
  4. Then flip them over and cook it for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle sugar over the roasted bananas and switch off the flame…Serve hot..
