Cherupayar Parippu Bajji / Moong Dal Bajji

Ingredients:
1 cup moong dal / cherupayar parippu
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 sprig curry leaves, chopped
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
salt to taste
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- Wash and soak the mung dal in water for 2-3 hours.
- Grind the drained mung dal to a paste without adding water.
- Transfer this to a bowl and add finely chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, chilli flakes and salt and mix well with your hand.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium flame and drop little batter using hand and fry till it turns golden brown and crispy.
- Remove it from the oil and drain them on a paper towel….Serve hot with tea/ coffee…

Instructions
