Green Peanut Chutney / Peanut Mint Coriander Chutney


1 cup mint leaves
1 cup coriander leaves
1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup roasted peanuts
1 tsp ginger, chopped
2 green chillies
1/2 tsp tamarind
salt to taste
few curry leaves
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp urad dal
2 dry red chillies
1 tsp coconut oil


  1. In a blender, add mint leaves, coriander leaves, grated coconut, roasted peanuts, ginger, green chillies, tamarind and salt and grind to a smooth paste adding enough water.
  2. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and urad dal. Add few curry leaves and dry red chillies and fry.
