Pappadam Pachadi

Ingredients:

3 pappadams

2 green chillies, finely chopped

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 sprig curry leaves

shallots, crushed

salt to taste

1/2 tsp red chilli flakes

1 cup yogurt, beaten

3/4 tsp mustard seeds

oil, as required

Preparation:

  1. Cut pappadams into small pieces and fry them in oil and keep it aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add curry leaves, chopped green chillies, onion, crushed shallots and salt and saute well.
  3. Add red chilli flakes and mix well.
  4. Switch off the flame and add yogurt and mix well.
  5. Add 3/4 of the fried pappadams into this and mix well.
  6. While serving, add remaining fried pappadams and serve with rice...
