Ingredients:


4-5 hard boiled eggs

1/2 tsp chilli powder

1/4 tsp + 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

2 onions, sliced

1 tsp ginger

1 tsp garlic

2 green chillies

10-12 cashew nuts

1/2 cup + 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves

2 cardamoms

2 cloves

2 cinnamon piece

1 tbsp pepper powder

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp garam masala

1/2 cup yogurt

1/4-1/2 cup fresh cream

1 tsp kasuri methi

salt to taste

1 tbsp butter

2 1/2 tbsp oil


Preparation:


  1. Heat 1 1/2 tsp oil in a pan and add chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and a pinch of salt and mix.
  2. Then add boiled eggs and lightly fry and keep it aside.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add sliced onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies and cashew nuts and saute until golden brown.
  4. Remove from the flame and allow to cool and then grind to a smooth paste adding coriander leaves and little water and keep it aside.
  5. In the same pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and butter and add cardamoms, cloves and cinnamon.
  6. Add the ground paste and stir well. Add little water and cook covered until the oil begins to separate.
  7. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt and mix well and cook until the raw smell goes.
  8. Add yogurt, fresh cream and kasuri methi and mix well. Adjust the water to the desired consistency.
  9. Cover and cook until the oil separates.
  10. Then gently add the fried eggs and chopped coriander leaves and cook at low flame for 3-4 minutes. Serve hot...
