Ingredients:
2 tbsp grated beetroot
1 cup yogurt / curd
3 shallots, crushed
1 tbsp crushed ginger-garlic
3 green chillies, chopped
1 sprig curry leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
2-3 dry red chillies
salt to taste
1 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation:
- In a blender, add yogurt and grind it with grated beetroot and keep it aside.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds. Add fenugreek seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves.
- Add crushed ginger-garlic, shallots and green chillies and saute.
- Add turmeric powder and mix well.
- Then add yogurt mixture and salt and mix well. Do not let it boil.
- Remove from the flame and serve with rice...
