Ingredients:
2 cups cabbage, thinly sliced
1 cup beetroot, grated
3/4 cup grated coconut
4-5 green chillies, chopped
5 shallots, sliced
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 sprig curry leaves
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp oil
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add cabbage, beetroot, grated coconut, green chillies, turmeric powder, shallots and salt and mix well with your hand.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add curry leaves and cabbage-beetroot mixture and mix well and cook covered on low flame till done, stirring occasionally.
