Carrot Paneer Pulao
Carrot Paneer Pulao is a delicious and wholesome North Indian dish made with basmati rice, paneer, carrots, and aromatic spices.

Ingredients:
1 cup basmati rice
1 1/2 cup grated paneer
1 cup carrot, grated
1 big onion, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1 1/2 tsp ginger paste
1 1/2 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
salt to taste
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4-1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp butter
Preparation:
- Wash the rice and cook in a deep pan adding enough water and salt till done. Drain the water and keep it aside to cool completely.
- Heat oil and butter in a thick bottomed pan and add cumin seeds.
- When it splutters, add chopped onion and green chilli and saute well.
- Add turmeric powder into this and mix well.
- Add ginger paste and garlic paste and saute well.
- Reduce the flame and add kashmiri chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- Add grated paneer and carrot and mix well for 3-4 minutes.
- Then add cooked rice and mix well and cook on low-medium flame till the rice heated up well. Adjust the salt.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and garam masala and mix well. Remove from the flame and serve hot with raita and pickle....
