Jackfruit / Chakka Undampori

Ingredients:
10-12 chakka / jackfruit pieces, chopped
1/4 cup sugar
2 cardamoms
3/4 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp baking soda
a pinch of salt
1- 1 1/4 cup wheat flour ( as required)
oil for frying
Preparation:
- Grind together chopped jackfruit, sugar and cardamom to a paste.
- Transfer to a bowl and add cumin seeds, baking soda, salt and wheat flour as required, mix well and knead to a smooth dough and keep it covered for 2 hours.
- Heat oil for frying in a deep bottomed pan.
- Grease your hand and take some dough and roll into round shape.
- Drop it into the hot oil and fry it in batches at low-medium flame till golden brown both sides.
- Drain them on a paper towel and serve hot with tea or coffee...
