Ingredients:
700 gm boneless chicken
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp chicken powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/4 tsp white pepper powder
1 tsp paprika
salt to taste
120 gm mozzarella or cheddar cheese, cubed ( as required )
For Coating:
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup bread crumbs, or as required (also can use panko bread crumbs)
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- Grind the chicken pieces using a food processor or blender and keep it aside.
- In a large bowl, add ground chicken, 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs, 1 egg, garlic powder, chicken powder, black pepper powder, white pepper powder, paprika and salt and mix until well combined.
- Apply little oil on hand and make lemon sized ball of the mixture and flatten it in your palm.
- Then place a cheese cube in the center and wrap the chicken around it and seal tightly and shape into nuggets.
- Repeat the same with the remaining mixture and cheese cubes.
- Beat 2 eggs in a bowl. Dip each nugget into the beaten egg and then in bread crumbs until evenly coated.
- Place the nuggets in the fridge for 15 minutes to help them hold their shape better during frying.
- Heat oil in a pan and gently drop them in the hot oil and fry them in batches until it turns golden brown and fully cooked on low-medium flame.
- Remove from the oil and drain them on a paper towel....Serve hot..
