Ingredients:


200 gm chicken with bones, cut into pieces

1 1/2 litre water

1 tsp + 1/2 tsp pepper powder ( adjust to your taste )

3/4 cup instant oats

1/2 cup onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup carrot, finely chopped

1/4 cup beans, finely chopped

1/4 cup sweet corn

1 tsp garlic, finely chopped

3/4 tsp ginger, finely chopped

salt to taste

2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped

1 tbsp oil


Preparation:


  1. In a pan, add chicken pieces, 1 tsp pepper powder, salt and 1 1/2 litre water and cook covered for about 20 minutes.
  2. Take out the cooked chicken from the stock, shred it and keep it aside.
  3. Strain the chicken stock and keep it aside.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and add finely chopped garlic, ginger and onion and saute well.
  5. Add chopped carrot, beans and sweet corn and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add oats into this and mix well.
  7. Add salt, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, shredded chicken and about 1 litre of chicken stock and mix well and allow it to boil till it thickens.
  8. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well and switch off the flame.
  9. Adjust the salt and pepper and serve hot garnished with coriander leaves...
