Ingredients:
1 kg chicken, cut into small pieces
3 medium onions, sliced
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
2 1/2 -3 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala
lemon juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp cumin powder
2 sprig curry leaves
salt to taste
oil as required
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions and fry till golden brown colour. Transfer this to a plate.
- In a large bowl, add cleaned chicken pieces, ginger paste, garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala, lemon juice, salt and fried onions and mix well.
- Then add cumin powder and 2 tbsp oil into this and mix well. Keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan and add the marinated chicken and curry leaves and mix well.
- Cook it covered at low flame, stirring occasionally till dry and well cooked. Switch off the flame.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot...
