Chicken Masala Gravy
This flavorful Chicken Masala Gravy features tender chicken pieces cooked in a rich, aromatic gravy made with onions, tomatoes, and a blend of traditional Indian spices. Perfect to serve hot with rice or bread.

Ingredients:
1/2 kg chicken, cut into pieces
2 onions, sliced
1 big tomato, chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp chilli flakes
1 tbsp chilli powder
2 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp cumin powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp spring onion, chopped
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
2-3 tbsp oil, or as required
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan and add 1 sliced onion and chopped tomato and saute well till soft.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and chilli flakes and saute well till the raw smell goes.
- Switch off the flame, allow to cool and then grind to a paste and keep it aside.
- Heat little oil in the same pan and add 1 sliced onion and cleaned chicken pieces and mix well for 3-4 minutes.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin powder and salt and mix well at low flame.
- Then add the ground paste and mix well and cook covered at medium- low flame, stirring in between, till the chicken is cooked well.
- Add chopped spring onions and coriander leaves and remove from flame. Serve hot...
