Ingredients:
1 basmati rice
8-10 garlic cloves, very finely chopped
1/2-1 tsp red chilli flakes
salt to taste
2 tbsp + 1 tbsp butter
1 tsp lemon juice
Preparation:
- Wash the rice and cook in a deep pan adding enough water and salt till done. Drain the water and keep it aside to cool and then refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- Heat 2 tbsp butter in a pan and add finely chopped garlic and saute at medium flame for 1 1/2 minutes till the colour starts to change.
- Then add red chilli flakes and saute at low flame for 1 minute.
- Add cooked rice and mix gently.
- Add 1 tbsp butter and lemon juice and mix well at high flame for 2 minutes.
- Switch off the flame and serve after 15 minutes...
