Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
1 1/3 cup plain flour/ all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 180 degree celcius. Line a baking sheet with baking paper/ parchment paper.
- In a bowl, sift together all purpose flour, baking soda and salt and keep it aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla extract and mix well until combined.
- Then add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and mix gently, just until combined. Do not over mix.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop a tablespoon of cookie batter on to the prepared baking sheet, two inches apart.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes on the baking sheet.
- Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely..........
