Ingredients:
1 cup clams / kakka irachi / elambakka, cleaned
3 onions, thinly sliced
1 tsp ginger, chopped
1/2 tsp garlic, chopped
4-5 green chillies, chopped
1 sprig curry leaves, chopped
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1 3/4-2 cups gram flour / kadalamavu
salt to taste
oil for frying
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add cleaned clams, sliced onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt and mix well.
- Add gram flour and required water little by little and mix well with hand.
- Heat oil in a pan, drop little batter using hand and fry till it turns golden brown in medium flame.
- Remove it from the oil and drain them on a paper towel....Serve hot with tea/ coffee...
