Creamy Chicken Mushroom Soup

Ingredients:


200 gm boneless chicken, cut into small pieces

200 gm mushrooms, sliced

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp pepper powder, or as required

salt to taste

2 tbsp plain flour

2 - 2 1/2 cup chicken stock

1 cup fresh cream

1 tbsp + 1 tbsp butter


Preparation:


  1. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan and add chicken pieces and saute well till the colour changes.
  2. Add pepper powder and minced garlic and saute well till the chicken gets cooked.
  3. Then move everything to the side of the pan and add sliced mushrooms and saute well till soft.
  4. Add salt and mix all together for 2 minutes and switch off the flame.
  5. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a thick bottomed pan and add plain flour and saute until light brown.
  6. Add chicken stock and stir well continuously without any lumps.
  7. Add sauteed chicken and mushroom and mix well and boil for about 2 minutes.
  8. Finally add a cup of fresh cream and mix well and heat it stirring continuously for 2 minutes.
  9. Adjust salt and pepper powder and switch off the flame.
  10. Transfer into soup bowls and serve hot...


  • If you don't have chicken stock, can use 1 chicken stock cube dissolved in 2 cups of boiling water.
