Creamy Chicken Mushroom Soup

Ingredients:
200 gm boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
200 gm mushrooms, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp pepper powder, or as required
salt to taste
2 tbsp plain flour
2 - 2 1/2 cup chicken stock
1 cup fresh cream
1 tbsp + 1 tbsp butter
Preparation:
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan and add chicken pieces and saute well till the colour changes.
- Add pepper powder and minced garlic and saute well till the chicken gets cooked.
- Then move everything to the side of the pan and add sliced mushrooms and saute well till soft.
- Add salt and mix all together for 2 minutes and switch off the flame.
- Heat 1 tbsp butter in a thick bottomed pan and add plain flour and saute until light brown.
- Add chicken stock and stir well continuously without any lumps.
- Add sauteed chicken and mushroom and mix well and boil for about 2 minutes.
- Finally add a cup of fresh cream and mix well and heat it stirring continuously for 2 minutes.
- Adjust salt and pepper powder and switch off the flame.
- Transfer into soup bowls and serve hot...
- If you don't have chicken stock, can use 1 chicken stock cube dissolved in 2 cups of boiling water.
