Ingredients:
1/2 cup green peas
4 eggs, boiled
3 medium onions, chopped
1 tbsp ginger, crushed
1 tbsp garlic, crushed
2 green chillies, chopped
1 large tomato, chopped
2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp kasuri methi
2 cups thick coconut milk
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
2 tbsp fresh cream
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Soak green peas in water for 5-6 hours. Then cook it adding salt and enough water till done and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onion, green chillies, crushed garlic, ginger and curry leaves and saute well till soft adding little salt.
- Add kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala and saute till the raw smell goes.
- Add chopped tomato and allow it to cook till it turns soft.
- Add cooked green peas and mix well for 2 minutes. Add kasuri methi and mix well.
- Then add coconut milk, mix well and allow it to boil. Adjust the salt.
- Add boiled eggs, chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream and mix well.
- Switch off the flame and keep it covered till ready to serve...Serve with chapati, appam, neer dosa etc....
