Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour
1/4 cup custard powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup yogurt / curd
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree celcius. Grease and line a square cake tin with a baking paper.
- In a bowl, add oil, yogurt and sugar and mix well using a whisk.
- Sift plain flour, custard powder, baking powder and baking soda into this bowl and mix gently.
- Add 1/4 cup of milk and mix gently. Then add remaining milk and mix gently to make a smooth batter.
- Then add chocolate chips and fold gently.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared cake tin and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely...Cut into slices and serve...
