Easy Beef Curry / Pressure Cooker Beef Curry

Ingredients:
1/2 kg beef, cut into pieces
1 onion, sliced
2 green chillies, chopped
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp fennel powder
1 tomato, chopped
1 sprig curry leaves
salt to taste
1 cardamom
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
2 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation:
- Heat coconut oil in a pressure cooker and add cardamom and fenugreek seeds.
- Add sliced onion, green chillies and ginger-garlic paste and saute well.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper powder, fennel powder and salt and mix well.
- Add chopped tomato and curry leaves and saute well till soft.
- Add cleaned beef pieces into this and mix well.
- Then add 1/3 cup of water, mix well and cook at high flame for 1 whistle and then lower the flame and cook for 5-6 whistles or till done.
- Once the pressure releases, open the cooker and mix well. Serve with neer dosa, pathiri , ghee rice, puttu etc..
