Firecracker Prawn Rolls

Firecracker Prawn Rolls are a delightful spicy and savoury snack featuring succulent prawns marinated in a blend of spices, then wrapped in crispy spring roll wrappers. Deep-fried to golden perfection, these crunchy rolls are perfect for any occasion, especially as an appetizer or party snack.

Ingredients:


1/2 kg medium prawns, peeled and deveined with tails on

1 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tsp paprika powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp pepper powder

salt, if required

spring roll wrappers, as required

plain flour + water paste, for sealing

oil, for frying


Preparation:


  1. Clean the prawns and pat dry them with a paper towel. Then make small slits along the length of the prawns, so they don't curl up while cooking.
  2. Marinate the prawns with soy sauce, paprika powder, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper powder and little salt and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Wrap each prawn in spring roll wrappers and use flour paste ( mix 3-4 tbsp plain flour with little water ) for sealing as shown below...

4.Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them for 4-5 minutes until golden and crunchy. Drain on paper towel and serve with sauce of your choice..
