Firecracker Prawn Rolls

Ingredients:
1/2 kg medium prawns, peeled and deveined with tails on
1 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tsp paprika powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp pepper powder
salt, if required
spring roll wrappers, as required
plain flour + water paste, for sealing
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- Clean the prawns and pat dry them with a paper towel. Then make small slits along the length of the prawns, so they don't curl up while cooking.
- Marinate the prawns with soy sauce, paprika powder, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper powder and little salt and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Wrap each prawn in spring roll wrappers and use flour paste ( mix 3-4 tbsp plain flour with little water ) for sealing as shown below...





4.Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them for 4-5 minutes until golden and crunchy. Drain on paper towel and serve with sauce of your choice..
