Ingredients:
2 cups cauliflower florets
1/4 cup cornflour
1/4 cup plain flour
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
salt to taste
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1/2 cup water, or as required
bread crumbs, for coating
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- Boil water in a pan and add cauliflower florets, little salt and a pinch of turmeric powder and boil for 2 minutes. Drain the water and keep it aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add cornflour, plain flour, rice flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, tomato sauce, salt, chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Add required water into this and mix well.
- Add drained cauliflower to the batter and mix well till coated.
- Then roll each cauliflower floret in bread crumbs to coat well.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry them until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain them on a paper towel….Serve with any sauce…
