Ingredients:


2 cups plain flour

1/4 cup rava / semolina

1 tsp sugar

salt to taste

1/2 cup yogurt / curd

1/2 tsp baking powder

water, as required

oil, as required


Preparation:


  1. In a bowl, add plain flour, rava / semolina, sugar and salt and mix well.
  2. Add yogurt and baking powder and mix well.
  3. Add required amount of water little by little to this and knead it well. Then add 1 1/2 tsp oil and knead well to a soft dough.
  4. Divide the dough into balls and roll it in a floured surface using a rolling pin into thick circles.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry it in the oil on medium flame till both sides are golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve with any other curries of your choice...
