Ingredients:
2 cups plain flour
1/4 cup rava / semolina
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
1/2 cup yogurt / curd
1/2 tsp baking powder
water, as required
oil, as required
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add plain flour, rava / semolina, sugar and salt and mix well.
- Add yogurt and baking powder and mix well.
- Add required amount of water little by little to this and knead it well. Then add 1 1/2 tsp oil and knead well to a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into balls and roll it in a floured surface using a rolling pin into thick circles.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry it in the oil on medium flame till both sides are golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with any other curries of your choice...
