Ingredients:
1 cup jackfruit puree (12-15 chakka / ripe jackfruit pieces)
5-6 tbsp plain flour
3 tbsp rava / semolina
2 tbsp rice flour
4-5 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- ln a blender, add jackfruit pieces and grind well to a smooth puree / paste without adding water.
- In a bowl, add 1 cup jackfruit puree, plain flour, rava, rice flour, sugar and salt and mix well with your hand and make a smooth batter (consistency of batter is not too thin or too thick).
- Transfer the prepared batter into a piping bag.
- Heat oil in a pan and pipe into long drop or tamarind shape directly over hot oil.
- Deep fry them until golden brown in colour. Drain onto a paper towel and serve with tea or coffee...
- You can also prepare by taking a handful of batter and squeeze it into the hot oil in the shape of tamarind.
