Jeera Rice/ Cumin Rice

Ingredients:
1 cup basmati rice
2 cups water
1 1/2- 2 tbsp ghee
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies, finely chopped
few coriander leaves
salt
Preparation:
- Wash and soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes. Drain it and keep it aside.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. When it splutters, add chopped green chillies and coriander leaves.
- Then add 2 cups of water and salt. When it starts to boil, add drained rice and mix well.
- Cover and cook till rice is done in medium flame...Serve hot with any curry of your choice...
