Ingredients:


5 small lemons / cherunaranga

2 green chillies

1 tsp ginger, chopped

salt to taste

1/2 cup thick coconut milk

3/4 cup yogurt, beaten

1 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

2 dry red chillies

1 sprig curry leaves

2 tsp coconut oil


Preparation:


  1. Wash and steam the lemons in a steamer until soft. Allow it to cool and then cut into small pieces.
  2. Then mix it with salt and keep it aside for overnight.
  3. Add chopped green chillies and ginger to the lemon and mix well.
  4. Add in thick coconut milk and mix well.
  5. Then add beaten yogurt and sugar and mix well. Check the salt and add if needed.
  6. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds Add dry red chillies and curry leaves.
  7. Add this seasoning and mix well. Serve with rice...
