Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup semiya / vermicelli
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
1 sprig curry leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
6-8 cashew nuts
1 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2 dry red chillies
salt to taste
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Boil water in a pan and add semiya and salt and cook till soft. Drain the water and keep it aside. ( Don't overcook the semiya)
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add urad dal, dry red chillies, curry leaves and cashew nuts and saute till golden.
- Add chopped ginger and green chilli and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder into this and mix well.
- Then add cooked semiya and mix well for 2 minutes. Adjust the salt.
- Add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves and mix well for 2 minutes on low flame. Remove from the flame and serve hot…
