Ingredients:


1/2 cup makhana / lotus seed

1 tsp ghee

1 cup yogurt / curd

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/4 tsp chat masala

1 green chilli, finely chopped

2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped

salt to taste

1/4 tsp sugar (optional )


Preparation:


  1. Heat ghee in a pan and add makhana and roast them for 4-5 minutes on low flame until they are crisp.
  2. Transfer it to a plate and allow them to cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add the yogurt and whisk well until smooth.
  4. Then add the roasted makhana, cumin powder, chat masala, chopped green chilli, coriander leaves, sugar and salt and mix well until well combined with yogurt.
  5. Check and adjust the taste. Serve with pulao, biriyani etc…
