Mango Bread / Mango Loaf

Ingredients:
2 cups plain flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup mango puree
1/4 cup milk
1/3 cup oil ( or 66 gm / 1/3 cup melted butter)
3/4 cup sugar
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree celcius. Grease a loaf pan with butter or spray with baking spray ( or line with baking paper).
- Sift together plain flour, baking powder, baking soda, cardamom powder and salt in a bowl and keep it aside.
- In a mixing bowl, add mango puree, milk, oil and sugar and mix till well combined.
- Add the flour mixture in batches and fold well.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely... Then slice the bread /loaf and serve...
