Naan Pizza

Ingredients:

6-8 naan bread

250 gm boneless chicken

1 1/2 tsp chilli powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp pepper powder

1/2 tsp soy sauce

salt to taste

pizza sauce, homemade or ready-made (as required)

1/2 cup red capsicum, chopped

1/2 cup green capsicum, chopped

4-5 black olives, chopped

2 jalapenos, chopped

grated mozzarella cheese, as required

tomato sauce/ ketchup as required

1/2-1 tsp oregano

1/2 tsp crushed red chilli flakes

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, add the cleaned chicken and marinate it with chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, soy sauce and salt.
  2. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken on low flame till done. Then shred/ chop it into small pieces and keep it aside.
  3. Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius.
  4. Place the naan breads on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spread a layer of pizza sauce on each naan.
  5. Sprinkle little cheese on top of the pizza sauce. 
  6. Then add the capsicums, fried chicken pieces, olives and jalapenos ( You can include additional toppings you like).
  7. Top it with grated cheese and sprinkle little chilli flakes, oregano and add little tomato sauce on top.
  8. Bake them in a preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly golden…Allow to cool slightly and then serve …
