Ingredients:

250 gm netholi fish / anchovies, cleaned

1 tbsp chilli powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp pepper powder

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1/2 tsp lemon juice

salt to taste

2 sprigs curry leaves

oil, as required for frying

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, add chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and little water and make a thick paste.
  2. Add the cleaned fish and curry leaves into this paste and marinate well and keep it aside for 20-30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish at medium flame (in batches) till both sides are done. Serve with rice...
