Ingredients:
250 gm netholi fish / anchovies, cleaned
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
2 sprig curry leaves
1 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
1 cup grated coconut
3-4 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation:
- Clean the anchovies and keep it aside.
- Grind chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger, garlic, 1 sprig curry leaves, garam masala, lemon juice and salt together to a smooth paste adding 1-2 tbsp water.
- Marinate the cleaned fish with this masala paste and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
