Ingredients:
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
zest of 1 orange
3/4 cup sugar, powdered
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/2 cup (100 gm) melted butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup tutti frutti
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 160 degree celcius. Grease a loaf pan with butter or spray with cooking spray (or line with baking paper).
- In a bowl, add plain flour, baking powder and baking soda and whisk together.
- In another bowl, add melted butter, sugar, orange zest and orange juice and whisk well.
- Add the dry ingredients ( step 2 ) along with milk and fold gently to make a smooth batter.
- Then add tutti frutti and fold gently.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle little tutti frutti on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes or until the toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
