Ingredients:
1 cup paneer cubes
1 onion, sliced
1/4 cup green capsicum, sliced
2-3 green chillies, slit
1 tsp pepper powder
1 big tomato
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp + 2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
4-5 pepper corns
1 big onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp butter
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add yogurt, 1 1/2 tsp chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, kasuri methi and salt and mix well and keep it aside.
- Grind tomato and 2 tsp chilli powder together to a puree ( about 1 cup ) and keep it aside.
- Heat butter in a pan and add paneer cubes, 1 sliced onion, capsicum, slit green chillies, salt and pepper powder and saute for 2-3 minutes and keep it aside.
- In another pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, pepper corns and finely chopped 1 big onion and cook until soft and browned.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well till the raw smell goes.
- Add tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add yogurt mixture and cook on low-medium flame till the oil separates.
- Then add the paneer mix and mix well and cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot...
