Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup / 5-6 idiyappams
100 gm paneer, cubed
1 onion, chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
1 sprig curry leaves
1 tomato, chopped
2-3 tbsp frozen green peas
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
8-10 cashew nuts
1 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp chana dal
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 1/2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Shred/ break the idiyappam into small pieces and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds . Add chana dal, urad dal and cashew nuts and fry till golden brown.
- Add chopped onion and saute well till transparent.
- Add chopped green chillies and curry leaves and saute.
- Add chopped tomato and cook till the tomato turns soft.
- Add green peas and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and salt and mix well for a minute.
- Add paneer cubes into this and mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add the shredded idiyappam and mix well until the masala coats the idiyappam evenly.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame..Serve hot / warm..
