Ingredients:


1 1/2 cup / 5-6 idiyappams

100 gm paneer, cubed

1 onion, chopped

2 green chillies, chopped

1 sprig curry leaves

1 tomato, chopped

2-3 tbsp frozen green peas

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp chilli powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

salt to taste

8-10 cashew nuts

1 tsp urad dal

1/2 tsp chana dal

1/2 tsp mustard seeds

2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped

1 1/2 tbsp oil


Preparation:


  1. Shred/ break the idiyappam into small pieces and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds . Add chana dal, urad dal and cashew nuts and fry till golden brown.
  3. Add chopped onion and saute well till transparent.
  4. Add chopped green chillies and curry leaves and saute.
  5. Add chopped tomato and cook till the tomato turns soft.
  6. Add green peas and mix well.
  7. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala and salt and mix well for a minute.
  8. Add paneer cubes into this and mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Now add the shredded idiyappam and mix well until the masala coats the idiyappam evenly.
  10. Garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the flame..Serve hot / warm..
