Peach Pulissery

Ingredients:
1 tin peach slices in syrup
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
1 cup less sour yogurt, beaten
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
2 dry red chillies
1 sprig curry leaves
salt to taste
1 1/2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- In a pan, add peach slices along with its syrup, 1-1 1/4 cup of water, turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- When it starts to boil, reduce the flame to low and cook till the peaches are soft and cooked.
- Switch off the flame and keep it aside to cool. Then add beaten yoghurt and mix well.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, dry red chillies and 1/4 tsp chilli powder.
- Add this to pulissery and mix well. Serve with rice..
